Help U.S. Farmers and Cuban People.

It's Time to End the Embargo

Ø   Since December 2001, Cuba has bought or contracted to buy more than $250 million in U.S. food purchases.

Ø   Cuba could buy as much as $1.24 billion worth of U.S. food products if restrictions on private U.S. financing of ag sales were lifted.

Ø   Unrestricted travel to Cuba would increase the amount of Cuban resources available for purchasing U.S. agricultural products and increase demand in Cuba for American food products.

Ø   For over 40 years, the embargo has failed to bring change to Cuba.  A policy of engagement would do more to help the Cuban people.
