Transition (UH1) Course (AO4)


Duration: 4 Weeks, 3 Days

Purpose: To qualify selected rotarywing aviators in the UH1 helicopter.

Scope: This course consists of flight and academic training in day visual flight rules (VFR) to include all before flight, basic flight, and emergency tasks; and academic instruction and practical application of the UH1 aircraft system subjects to provide the aviators with necessary skills and knowledge to properly and safely operate a UH1 helicopter.
