Instructor Pilot (UH1) Course (A06)


Duration: 6 Weeks

Purpose: To qualify selected rotarywing aviators as instructor pilots in the UH1 helicopter for the conduct of training, transition, and standardization.

Scope: This course consists of flight and academic training in day/night visual flight rules (VFR) to include all before flight, basic flight, and emergency tasks; academic instruction and practical application of principles and techniques of flight instruction; and practical application of the UH1 aircraft systems. Sufficient depth of knowledge is gained to enable graduates to teach subjects in flight and UH1 systems.
