Aircraft Powerplant Repairer Course (AM3)

Duration: 12 Weeks

Purpose: To provide students with the skills and knowledge to perform aviation unit maintenance (AVUM) and aviation intermediate maintenance (AVIM) on aircraft turbine engines and allied equipment.

Scope: Based on tasks that are specified for skill level one training; also covers subjects considered necessary for student understanding and proficiency in powerplant repair.

  • Enabling Skills
  • T53 Gas Turbine Maintenance
  • T53 Gas Turbine Troubleshooting
  • APU/AGPU Maintenance
  • T700 Gas Engine
  • Human Rights Awareness Training
  • * Will be included based on requirements.
