Aircraft Electrician Course (AM6)

Duration: 16 Weeks, 3 Days

Purpose: To provide students with the skills and knowledge to perform aviation unit maintenance (AVUM) and aviation intermediate maintenance (AVIM) on aircraft electrical systems, and to operate test and ground equipment.

Scope: Provides instruction for repair personnel of aircraft electrical systems which cover maintenance, basic electronics training (BET), testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft electrical systems; uses ground support equipment required for aircraft electrical system maintenance.
