Cadet Leadership Development - Cavalry Course (C34)


Duration: 4 Weeks

Purpose: Train cadets to function as leaders in a mechanized cavalry squad and platoon.

Scope: This course is designed to introduce cadets to basic cavalry tactics. Students are given the opportunity to refine their mounted land navigation skills. During the tactics portion of the training, students are introduced to various types of mechanized equipment and learn basic cavalry missions, reconnaissance techniques, scouting operations, troop leading procedures, and dismounted assault operations.
