IMET: Honduras
The following description of the IMET program for Honduras comes from the U.S. State Department's April 2002 FY2003 Congressional Budget Justification for Foreign Operations:1

The International Military Education and Training (IMET) program for Honduras will help consolidate civilian control of the military through training programs and participation in regional military exchanges/programs.
