LocationSchool of the Americas, Ft. Benning, GA Scope"Explores the role of the military within a democratic and constitutionally derived civilian controlled government. Course is taught in Spanish. Information and theoretical discussions are fully based upon the shared principles and cultures of the southern hemisphere. Instruction consists of governmental operations, legal/military law, and historical foundations of regional democracy. Instruction is presented at the post baccalaureate level; course accreditation has been applied for through the southern association of colleges and universities. The course is appropriate for captain through lieutenant colonel or civilian equivalents who possess a post secondary education level degree."
