Foreign Military Financing: Dominican Republic

The Bush Administration's budget presentation for 2003 explains, "Foreign Military Financing (FMF) funds will be used to support coastal patrol boats used in the counter-drug operations and illegal migrant interdiction efforts. FMF also will be used to provide tactical communications that will facilitate coordination of the military's natural disaster response efforts." [1]
