Professional Executive Assisant

Global Financial Integrity (GFI), a Washington, DC-based think tank and advocacy group, promotes national and multilateral policies, safeguards, and agreements aimed at curtailing the cross-border flow of illicit money and enhancing integrity in the global financial system, thereby contributing to economic development and security.

GFI seeks a Professional Executive Assistant who is self-motivated, detailed oriented and flexible. The ideal candidate is confident; works well with colleagues and is able to support two executives.  Candidates must be proactive, have ability to multi-task and has proficiency with Outlook, MS Word and PowerPoint. Three to five years experience supporting executive level management and a bachelor’s degree are required. 

Duties include:

  • Produce and edit correspondence
  • Organize and maintain files; monitor and log incoming mail and messages; and prepare initial drafts of responsive correspondence as appropriate
  • Coordinate calendar and scheduling and make travel arrangements
  • Perform administrative duties including answering phones and ordering office supplies.

Requirements:

  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic; commitment to quality and excellence and a “can do” attitude are key characteristics
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can operate with minimal supervision
  • Proven organizational skills; detail oriented
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
